SKETCHES OF THE SELF

Usually taken quickly between other tasks, I snap a pic when inspiration hits or when the light is just right. Akin to a 5-minute rough sketch, I treat these glorified selfies as a fun way to explore contrast, color, creative intuition, and aesthetic merit.

This is a hobby I started in 2013 with my iPhone. While I've refined my abilities, my approach is the same: use what you have and explore it to its greatest potential.
